INTRODUCTION TO MORTGAGES (CeMAP® 2)

Mortgages are the second part of three that make up the full CeMAP® qualification. Unlike UK Financial Regulation, this module is completely dedicated to mortgage matters and those parts within the industry associated with mortgages.

There are four units within this module and each unit will prepare you for the relevant unit in the examination and provide you with all the information you need.

Unit 3 - Mortgage law, policy practice and markets
Unit 4 - Mortgage applications
Unit 5 - Mortgage payment methods and products
Unit 6 - Mortgage arrears and post-completion

In CeMAP® 2 it is equally important, if not more so, to be familiar with the content of the Mortgage Conduct of Business Rules as they feature strongly throughout this module. You may realise that there is some repetition from CeMAP® 1, and if you have recently finished studying that module, it will stand you in good stead for some of your CeMAP® 2 studies.

To begin your studies simply click Unit 3 in the headings box and work your way through each section ensuring you answer any questions when prompted. It does not matter in what order you study these units. Attempt specimen papers in any order you wish.
